Mini fuses are used in a variety of applications in everyday life. They may even be used in the very device you’re using right now or others that you use on an everyday basis such as a computer, television, or other electronics.
Mini fuses, like many others, are sold in packages of multiples in case you ever need to replace that same fuse you will always have a steady amount of back up fuses on hand. It will save you an unnecessary trip to the store to keep a decent supply on hand in your tool cabinet. However, always be aware that fuses are available in different amperages. You don’t want to replace a fuse that needs to be set at 30 amps at 20 amps. That can cause problems when trying to replace multiple fuses. To prevent any issues, organization comes in handy.
Fuses also may sometimes be organized with a specific coloration being attached to it. This indicates amps, especially in packages which provide a large variety of fuse types. You will probably benefit more from having one of these on hand, now that we think of it because it has more variety in types of fuses in your possession on hand at any time needed.

The term mini usually means small and they will serve the same purpose as other fuses but with a smaller protection factor than others. Don’t discount the name though because as long as they are used for their required purpose they will function correctly.
Most fuses are relatively easy to install and simply require something as simple as removing and replacing once that you have noticed is burnt out. This is usually noticed when the insides are brown or appear burnt as well. All you need to do is to locate a similar one and toss the older one in the trash.
